OAKLAND — Boos rang loud and first-half cheers transitioned quickly to hearty doomed jeers as the Oakland Raiders fell into a listless, 42-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans and left sour their penultimate game at the Coliseum.
Hope of that seventh win — frustratingly elusive over these last three weeks — was bright, at least by the half’s end when the Raiders entered the tunnels with a 21-21 tie. But, by then, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill had already begun unraveling a Raiders’ defense keen on limiting running back Derrick Henry’s production. By the game’s end, all was exposed.
