Al Zeidenfeld recommends Raiders QB Derek Carr and other value plays for Week 9.
Just a few months ago, most people would scoff at hearing that the Oakland Raiders would be a game over .500 midway through the season. Many would not believe that a young offense -- led by a sophomore quarterback, who was hardly the headliner of the 2014 draft class -- would post 71 points in a two-week span.
But that is now a reality. Oakland's offense currently ranks eighth in points per game and 10th in passing yards per game.
According to a coach who has a long history with the architect of the Raiders' offense, don't expect offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave to pump the brakes anytime soon.
