Mayer has been out for the past two weeks as he has been dealing with a personal issue. The team hasn’t given any details on Mayer’s situation.
With the move, Mayer will miss, at least, the next four games. He will be eligible to return November 17 at the Miami Dolphins when the Raiders return for their bye week.
