When the Raiders move out of Oakland, they will be leaving behind Raider Nation, one of the most loyal, fierce fanbases in the entirety of American athletics.
Many fans of the team stayed by its side when they moved to Los Angeles from 1982-1994 and were overjoyed to have the team back when they moved back to Oakland for the 1995 season.

Then, in March 2017, 20 years after the Raiders moved back to The Town, NFL owners overwhelmingly approved a plan for the team to move to Las Vegas. It wasn't exactly a shock when it happened – Raiders owner Mark Davis, son of legendary owner Al Davis, had been lobbying for the move for years.
