Even for teams like the Las Vegas Raiders that have struggled in recent history, the offseason brings reasonable optimism for success.
Sure, no one is expecting the Raiders to pull off a shocking Super Bowl win, and that is perfectly fine. However, look at a team like the Washington Commanders, who went from the second overall pick in last year’s draft to an NFC Championship appearance in one season. The path to a quick turnaround and, hopefully, sustainable success is open for all teams; it is just a matter of who is willing to seize the opportunity.
Raiders owner Mark Davis is perfectly aware of this, and his comments at the NFL’s Annual League Meeting on Monday confirmed his optimism.
