The Raiders are going through a major transformation during the 2020 offseason as they prepare to move the team into a new home for next season in Las Vegas, and that includes the ongoing construction of their actual home at Allegiant Stadium. At the same time, the world is going through a major transformation of its own due to the conoravirus pandemic that has shutdown many businesses, schools, and operations, including the cancellation of the 2020 NFL Draft festivities in Las Vegas later this month, instead moving to a remote draft.
Despite the many postponements and cancellations of events, the closing of businesses, construction at Allegiant Stadium has managed to go continue and owner Mark Davis told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that they are on schedule to be ready for next season, if it does so happen to begin on time and with crowds.
