Las Vegas Raiders’ pass-rusher Malcolm Koonce’s emergence in the second half of the 2023 season has been well-documented as he ended up finishing the campaign with eight sacks in the team’s final nine games of the year.
Everyone in Raider Nation knows that as Koonce quickly became a fan favorite with his strong finish that included a three-sack performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day.
However, how the switch flipped was unknown until the 2021 third-round pick spoke to the media after Las Vegas’ OTA session on Tuesday, June 4.
“I think it’s just trusting myself,” Koonce explained, “just understanding how my body moves, understanding my body mechanics.
