Defensive end Khalil Mack was happy to see the Raiders soak in their first win of the season, but he knows more is needed from the defense.
“The offense helped us out tremendously today,” Mack said. “We have to get back to the film and study it. We tried to hold it down at the end.”
One continuing issue is the lack of pass rush. Even with Mack and Aldon Smith and Justin Tuck, the Raiders are still without a sack after two games. That doesn’t dilute the win, but it does bother Mack.
“It matters to me,” he said.
