Khalil Mack made another appearance at the podium on Wednesday (no sunglasses this time) to discuss his five sack outing that earned him the AFC’s Defensive Player of the Week award.
“It’s cool, man,” Mack said of his first such honor of his career. “It’s pretty cool. It’s exciting, but now it doesn’t really mean much. We’ve got to get prepared for the Packers.”
Mack’s preparation last week included taking Wednesday off, with him hitting the injury report with a knee injury. In reality, it was more of a day to just rest his well-traveled body that’s taken its share of hits during his second NFL season.
