It’s very early in the Las Vegas Raiders training camp but the initial reviews on the quarterback competition between Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew haven’t been good.
According to several beat reporters, neither quarterback has been able to pull away from the other and both have struggled to consistently connect with their receivers as the defense has won the majority of the intrasquad competitions so far.
Granted, both O’Connell and Minshew are learning a new offense, while Maxx Crosby and Co. are playing in the same system, and offensive coordinator Luke Getsy has been happy with how the two QBs have picked up the playbook so far.
