Coming out of the gates the Oakland Coliseum was rocking, and the players seemed to be playing off of the electric crowd. The Raiders received the opening kick off and promptly stormed down the field, landing the first punch of the game with a hard-nosed run from Marshawn Lynch.
The first half was impressive, Carr was 20/24 with 199 yards and an unfortunate interception in the end zone. He looked confident in the pocket and was in control of his passes, hitting throws that reminded me of 2016. However, everything changed after Carr took a low hit from defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who knows better than to hit a quarterback below the knees.
