Linebacker Sio Moore will open training camp on the physically unable to perform list, the Raiders announced Monday.
Moore had surgery to repair a hip injury late last season and went on the injured reserve list Dec. 16. His participation in the offseason program included very little on-field time as he rehabbed the injury.
In two seasons after being a fourth-round draft pick out of UConn, Moore has played in 26 games with 140 tackles. His absence at weak side linebacker will likely put Ray-Ray Armstrong with the first team when camp begins, with Malcolm Smith also available.
