LB Bruce Irvin looks forward to reunion with Ken Norton Jr., lining up opposite Khalil Mack

The AFC West is chock full of tandem pass rushers and Bruce Irvin hopes his signing with the Raiders puts them right there with that elite group.

The former Seattle linebacker officially signed with the Raiders on Thursday, two days after he became a surprise acquisition when he agreed to terms on a four-year deal.

The move to Oakland reunites him with Raiders defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr., his linebackers coach for the first three years of his career with the Seahawks. Beyond that, the chance to rush the passer opposite Khalil Mack was a huge pull.
