More than 3,000 people paid tribute to late Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler during a ceremony Friday night at halftime of the Foley, Alabama, High School varsity football game.
Stabler attended and played football at Foley High, and among those in attendance were members of his family. The ceremony was part of the "Hall of Famer" program that honors the hometown roots of some of the NFL's best players. It's sponsored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Ford Motor Company."I've never played a down of football in my life, but I do know how special this place was to our dad," said Stabler's daughter, Alexa Stabler Adams.
