One of the turning points of the Oakland Raiders heartbreaking loss on Sunday to the Steelers at Heinz Field was running back Latavius Murray’s fumble in the second half. The workhorse running back getting rocked by Mike Mitchell before dropping the ball and negating a chance to take the lead after a David Amerson interception.
Following the hit Murray remained out of the game, going through the in-game concussion protocol and forcing the team to use Marcel Reece along with Taiwan Jones at running back in his absence. An absence that could drag into Week 10 as Murray will be monitored throughout the week leading into next Sunday’s big game against the Minnesota Vikings.
