Today the Raiders announced the signing of former Rams defensive lineman Ethan Westbrooks. The Oakland native played in all 16 games for the Rams in each of the past three seasons, and had four sacks in the 2017 campaign. Westbrooks played college ball at West Texas A&M where he was the Division II Player of the Year in 2012 after racking up a whopping 19.5 sacks.
To make room for Westbrooks, the Raiders waived TE Erik Swoope and DT Ronald Ollie. Swoope had a few drops in camp while Ollie quickly got injured, but the former Last Chance U star shouldn't be unemployed for long.
