During the 2019 NFL Draft, the then-Oakland Raiders used a first round pick on Alabama running back Josh Jacobs. Jacobs was one of three first round picks for the Raiders last April, and had the biggest impact of the three, as he set a number of Raiders rookie records.
After becoming the first Raiders rookie to post a 1,000-yard season, many believed he would be a shoe-in to take home the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year award. However, that went to Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, which was pretty stunning at the time.
