ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Calling it the most painful thing he’s endured in his life -- “And I’ve had surgeries,” he said -- Oakland Raiders left guard Kelechi Osemele said Tuesday that he missed Thursday's game at the Kansas City Chiefs due to kidney stones.
“It started around 2 in the morning,” Osemele said. “It’s pretty painful (stuff). I wouldn’t wish that on anybody.”
Osemele said he tried to sleep off the pain Wednesday night at the team hotel in Kansas City with no success. And after being examined by team doctors, he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
