Before becoming a kicker for the Oakland Raiders, Giorgio Tavecchio was just a young man from Milan, Italy. Tavecchio grew up in Berkeley, and attended the University of California Berkeley, but remained rooted in his Italian culture. Along with football, No. 2 also played soccer, and has been a devout Inter Milan fan since his youth. Recently, Tavecchio visited the club’s facility in Appiano Gentile, and met with club manager Luciano Spalletti, as well as club vice-president Javier Zanetti. The two engaged in some conversation, and he was even gifted an Inter jersey with his name and number on the back.
