No one remotely expected the Oakland Raiders to come away with a win against the division leading and perhaps AFC favorite Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs were way too talented amid a legitimate Super Bowl year and the Raiders were surely going to be steamrolled as they increase their chances for a top pick come April.
Though Oakland did manage to lose for the tenth time this season, by no means did they let up and quit against their most historic rival. The defense managed to keep the game within reach for a majority of the game, the offense showed flashes of the future as they countered every punch given by Kansas City, and the result was a score that was decided by just a single touchdown.
