After yesterday’s news on Justin Tuck’s MRI results led to speculation that the veteran defensive end could be headed for the worst, Thursday marked the official news that the Oakland Raiders will be without the two-time Super Bowl champion for the rest of the season. A crushing blow for the team as well as the 32-year-old Tuck, who is on the final year of a two-year contract signed with the Raiders.
On Wednesday afternoon, it was reported by multiple sources that Tuck was feared to have a torn pectoral muscle. Those reports came after head coach Jack Del Rio told reporters that the results of Tuck’s MRI following the Broncos game “were not good” and judging by the news this morning those worst fears were realized.
