NAPA — Jared Cook had the best podium session of training camp so far on Monday, when the Raiders’ No. 1 tight end touched on everything from Jon Gruden using film from the 70s in team meetings to why Derek Carr is a completely different person this season to what he remembers about being teammates with Jordy Nelson in Green Bay.
Cook is entering his second season with the Raiders after a 2017 in which he led the team in receiving yards. He complements a revamped receiving corps nicely, and should again be one of Carr’s top targets in the passing game.
