OAKLAND – Playing their last scheduled game in Oakland before the long-scheduled move to Las Vegas, the Raiders gave their fans one last dagger on the way out.
Jacksonville scored 17 unanswered points in the final 15 minutes, including a 4-yard touchdown pass from Gardner Minshew to Chris Carson with 31 seconds left, to hand the Raiders a 20-16 loss at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
The matchup featured two struggling teams – Oakland (6-8) had lost three straight games by at least 21 points, while Jacksonville (5-9) had lost five straight games by at least 17 points – and the play Sunday often matched the teams’ recent form.
