An annoying part of the Oakland Raiders malaise on offense during Sunday's 18-13 loss at Detroit was two delay of game penalties.
After the game, Derek Carr was his typical stand-up self and pinned the blame for the issues on himself. He vowed to fix it moving forward. Monday, Oakland coach Jack Del Rio also said those penalties are squarely on the quarterback and he will address it with Carr to make sure it doesn't become an ongoing issue.
"It happened twice in key moments, when it went from third-and-4 to third-and-9 and went from third-and-6 to third-and-11," Del Rio said.
