Stephen Constantine, the head coach of India's national soccer team and longtime Raiders fan, recently visited Northern California on a goodwill tour and a fact-findng mission. Part of his visit included a trip to the Oakland Raiders Alameda, Calif., facility.
The Sacramento Bee's Bill Paterson writes:
“When I was a young boy, I played for a team in England called Millwall,” Constantine said. “The team song – the chant – is ‘No one likes us, and we don’t care.’ When I came to the States in ’82, it was the Raiders with guys like Lyle Alzado and Howie Long that weren’t liked much, either.
