I know, I know, I can’t leave the Stabler thing along. But I thought it would interesting for younger football fans to take a look at Ken Stabler. I want to thank poster Kilgore for this youtube video on him.
What stands out is his genius for adjusting in the pocket. On his first throw in the video, he slides beautifully to find a spot to throw. On his second pass, he has a Viking stumble at his feet, but he still has enough on the throw to get it to Fred Biletnikoff. On a throw at the 12:05 mark in the video, he again, slides to find Dave Casper in the end zone.
