Here’s what Antonio Brown’s teammates said about his apology

ALAMEDA — If there were any teammates who were upset Friday about the return of wide receiver Antonio Brown, it was well hidden behind a desire move forward and beat the Denver Broncos to open the season.

Brown didn’t practice with the the team Thursday the day after an on-field shouting match with general manager Mike Mayock over fines incurred for two unexcused absences during training camp. There were reports of impending suspensions and possibly the Raiders severing ties with Brown.

Instead, Brown was back Friday and said he was sorry while flanked by team captains. Raiders players seemed happy about having one of their most potent weapons available on Monday night at the Coliseum.
