Henry Ruggs is out for New England game

In an unexpected decision, the Raiders have ruled out rookie wide receiver Henry Ruggs III of Sunday’s game at New England. The No. 12 overall draft pick from Alabama practiced Wednesday. but was limited Thursday and he did not practice Friday. He has knee and hamstring problems.

Ruggs has been dealing with a knee issue since late in the first half against Carolina. The hamstring issue appears to be a new problem. Ruggs had one catch for four yards against New Orleans. He has four catches for 59 yards in two games.

Expect to see more of Nelson Agholor and Zay Jones om Sunday.
