Happy Valley just got a little happier.
According to saturdaytradition.com, Penn State has issued a news release announcing that Matt Millen, who received a heart transplant on Christmas Eve, will broadcast the school’s spring football game on Saturday.
Millen played defensive line and linebacker from 1976-79 at Penn State and remains a Nittany Lion in good standing. He played 12 years in the NFL, winning Super Bowls with the Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and Washington. Following his retirement from the NFL he served as a TV analyst and as the Detroit Lions president for 10 forgettable years.
