The Oakland Raiders released two prominent stars from this season of "Hard Knocks" as they attempted to solidify their 53-man-roster.
Tight end Luke Willson was released on Friday and wide receiver Keelan Doss was released on Saturday.
The Canadian-born Willson was prominent in the Aug. 27 episode as the team traveled to Winnipeg for a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. The tight end was previously with the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions.

Doss, an undrafted rookie from UC Davis who grew up in Alameda, was a surprising cut after seemingly impressing head coach Jon Gruden on the show.
