From Jon Gruden’s hilarious barbs to the bizarre antics of Antonio Brown, HBO’s “Hard Knocks: Training Camp With the Oakland Raiders” has delivered plenty of memorable moments through its first three episodes.
But for Matt Montoya, a key production assistant with the show, the best experience by far came during the team’s alumni weekend featured in the series opener. It was an event attended by his father, former Raiders’ guard Max Montoya, and his mother, Patti. And, in his eyes, it was pure gold.
“To actually see my parents there while we were filming was pretty incredible,” he recalls.
