I wanted to try something different this morning. I’ve always been rather obsessed with hindsight, especially when it comes to the NFL and the mad declarations people make about the futures of players, teams, coaches, games, and so on.
Nobody knows anything about what’s to come and yet we continue to fool ourselves into believing that we do. The draft is perhaps the greatest example of that as many will be looking to the 2020 class and say, “Well, you NEED to get this guy” and “Wow, you WASTED a pick on that guy” and ultimately, most of what we believe will be incorrect.
