ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Oakland Raiders coach Jon Gruden acknowledged Wednesday that the abrupt departure of Antonio Brown two days before the season opener is still affecting his offense, while defending quarterback Derek Carr after an uneven start to the season.
Because while Carr and the AB-less Raiders offense was humming in the 24-16 season-opening win over the Denver Broncos, it has stalled the last two weeks. In fact, since taking a 10-0 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs into the second quarter in Week 2, Oakland has been outscored by a combined 62-14.
