NFL owners convened near Chicago’s O’Hare airport on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of Los Angeles relocation and update home-market stadium efforts for the St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers and the Raiders, teams with eyes on L.A.
The city of St. Louis has made significant progress on an NFL stadium proposal. The city of San Diego unveiled a plan to keep the Chargers in town on Monday afternoon, and were at this special owners meeting pitching their plan.
The city of Oakland didn’t have anything to report, and weren’t invited to this owners meeting.
There “has been no viable proposal” delivered from Oakland to the Raiders, NFL vice president Eric Grubman told reporters on hand at Tuesday’s meeting.
