Oakland Raiders legends Cliff Branch and Daryle Lamonica were inducted into the Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame at a gala event held in Las Vegas Friday night.
During his 14-year Raiders career, Branch won three Super Bowls and remains the third all-time leading receiver in team history. He amassed 8,685 yards during a run-first era. Lamonica, aka "The Mad Bomber," was acquired in a trade with the Buffalo Bills in 1967. He immediately led the Silver and Black to a 13-1 record and a division title. The '67 team went on to win the AFL championship, defeating Houston 40-7, before falling to the Packers in Super Bowl II.
