A lot of Raiders fan grew up with Greg Papa calling games. He was called the Godfather as the voice of the Raiders for over two decades. That run came to an end prior to last season as Papa was unceremoniously removed and replaced by the lackluster voice of former longtime color commentator Brent Musburger.
Raiders radio broadcasts last season went from knowledgable and energetic to drab and lethargic. Fans who were known to turn the sound off on the TV and turn on the local broadcast now more often just go with the national broadcasters.
