OAKLAND — Here is how the Raiders (2-3) graded out in their 16-10 loss to the Denver Broncos (5-0).
Pass offense
The Raiders couldn’t generate a downfield passing attack against the NFL’s top-ranked defense, which is fifth against the pass. Fullback Marcel Reece was the leader with seven receptions and they only managed to target Amari Cooper four times. Half of Derek Carr’s 26 completions were to Reece, Latavius Murray and Roy Helu. He was also sacked four times by the league’s best pass rush. Still, it had at least been a decent day most of the afternoon because Carr avoided mistakes to keep the Raiders in the game.
