The Oakland Raiders brought in Tyrell Williams to be the WR2 this season behind Antonio Brown in 2019, giving the team two established receivers at the top of their depth chart. Brown, arguably the best wide receiver in all of football, ran himself out of town before the Raiders kicked off their season, leaving Williams to assume WR1 duties.
At times, Williams did look like a WR1, showing the kind of deep-ball ability that made him such a coveted target in free agency. However, he had to battle through Plantar Fasciitis, and that really hindered not only Williams, but the Raiders offense.
