Defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins signed a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Raiders defensive tackles P.J. Hall and Justin Ellis suffered ankle injuries in Oakland's Week 1 loss to the Rams, necessitating Frostee Rucker moving inside.
Hankins, 26, was released by the Indianapolis Colts on March 17. He played just one season for the team after signing a three-year, $27 million deal in April 2017.
He had 44 tackles and two sacks while starting all 15 games that he appeared in for the Colts.
