The day after the Raiders season ended, they signed nine of their ten Practice squad players to reserve/future contracts. The one player who was not brought back was Johnny Holton. Instead they signed former Chargers punter Drew Kaser who will offer competition with Johnny Townsend. Now two weeks later, he has found a home in Philadelphia with the Eagles, who have signed him to a reserve future contract.
Holton was an undrafted free agent signing by the Raiders in 2016 out of Cincinnati. He made the team out of camp and spent three years in Oakland.
