David Humm, a quarterback who was a reserve on two Raiders championship teams and later worked for the organization as a radio analyst, died Tuesday night at age 65 from complications of multiple sclerosis.
“The entire Raiders Family is deeply saddened to learn of David Humm’s passing,” the club said in a statement. “David was a true Raider in every sense and the heart of the Raider Nation goes out to his family at this time.”
Humm, a fifth-round draft pick from Nebraska, played for the Raiders from 1975-79 and after stints in Buffalo (1980) and Baltimore (1981-82) returned to the Raiders to finish his career in 1983-84.
