Darren McFadden, the former Raiders running back now with the Dallas Cowboys, is expected to miss the start of training camp while recovering from a broken elbow. He was hurt when he fell on the elbow trying to save his cell phone from dropping, reported the Dallas Morning News.
This could be a fairly serious injury for the Cowboys. A rejuvenated McFadden rushed for 1,089 yards last season, ranking him fourth in the NFL.It could also put a damper in McFadden's rejuvenation, as the Cowboys took Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth overall pick in the 2016 draft and signed Alfred Morris.
