With games on three days this weekend, there were plenty of exciting moments in Week 1 of the NFL season. With that, let’s check in on some former Las Vegas Raiders as a few had some impressive performances in their respective season openers.
Derek Carr
Game result: 47-10 Saints win
Stats: 19/23, 200 yards, 3 TDs
Carr came out of the gates firing by connecting with wide receiver Rashid Shaheed for a 59-yard touchdown on the New Orleans Saints’ first possession of the game. That was also the first touchdown of the day, and Carr did a great job of stepping up in the pocket while making a beautiful throw down the field with pressure.
