ALAMEDA — Tyrell Williams has been about as low key as a prize free agent could be since joining the Raiders in March.
Part of it is he signed four-year, $44.3 million contract with $22 million guaranteed on the first day of free agency not long after the Raiders agreed to send third- and fifth-round draft picks for Antonio Brown.
Brown was like a total eclipse in terms of attention even when he wasn’t practicing for reasons ranging from frostbitten feet to a dispute over his helmet. Williams, meanwhile, simply went about his business, happy to be targeted by the Raiders as their top choice among wide outs in free agency and yet also willing to surrender the mantel of No.
