With five games under their belt, the Oakland Raiders enter their Week 6 bye with a 2-3 record, just one win shy of matching their win total from a year ago. Though Oakland’s sub .500 record may appear relatively disappointing on paper, it’s still obvious that this year’s team has made significant strides in the right direction, while it is also reasonable to assume that they will only continue to improve as the season progresses.
While there are a considerable amount of issues that can be corrected through tape evaluation and on-field coaching, Oakland still needs to gain experience as a unit before they can start coming out on top in close games.
