While training camp is just around the corner, the Las Vegas Raiders could afford to add a veteran cornerback to their roster. One of the biggest names still available in free agency is former Miami Dolphins corner Xavien Howard.
Howard has a track record of being a ball hawk with 31 career interceptions and 62 PBUs, per Pro Football Focus, but is no longer in his prime. For example, he surrendered a 62.0 completion percentage, 502 yards and two touchdowns when targeted last season. Granted, PFF also credited him with 10 forced incompletions, tied for 23rd among cornerbacks in 2023.
