On a defensive line that’s headlined by Maxx Crosby, Christian Wilkins and Malcolm Koonce, it can be easy to forget about the big man in the middle, John Jenkins. The 6-foot-3 and 327-pound defensive tackle is arguably the most underrated player on the Raiders’ defense despite being hard to miss.
Jenkins is coming off a career year where he posted personal bests with 61 total tackles and four tackles for loss. But even more importantly, he’s an impressive run defender who can eat up space and plug up gaps in the trenches which is the primary reason why he’s a returning starter heading into the 2024 season.
