ALAMEDA — Eddie Vanderdoes was in a joking mood Monday after tearing his ACL in the Raiders’ season finale.
Approached about the injury at his locker, the rookie defensive tackle first refuted several reports that he tore his left ACL in a 30-10 loss to the Chargers on Sunday. A source told the Bay Area News Group shortly after the game about the injury, which the Las Vegas Review-Journal first reported.
“Oh I’m fine, I didn’t get hurt. The source wasn’t valid. I’m fine. Just a bruise,” Vanderdoes said, sternly looking at three reporters.
“Nah, I’m just f***** with you guys,” he said with a chuckle.
