When the Oakland Raiders kicked off training camp, Donald Penn was one of three names listed as physically unable to perform. A perennial Pro Bowler, Penn had a very serious injury last season, and with rookie Kolton Miller playing so well, the thought was they may go into 2018 with him as the left tackle.
Well, all of that came to rest on Monday night, as Penn restructured his contract to be more team-friendly, as per Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. While the contract was good for the team, it is also good for Penn, who now gets more guaranteed money over the next two seasons.
