ALAMEDA — The way the season ended last year still doesn’t sit well with Raiders left tackle Donald Penn.
He’s not fond of re-hashing it, understandably. It all started Christmas Eve, when Penn slipped in his pass protection while trying to block the Indianapolis Colts’ Trent Cole. It led to the only sack he allowed during his Pro Bowl season and when Cole tackled quarterback Derek Carr from behind, he suffered a broken right fibula in the process.
“I’ve taken that same set I don’t know how many times, on the same field and never just slipped out of nowhere,” Penn said.
